Los Banos

Valley Crisis Center opened its Los Banos office in April of 2009. The opening of VCC in Los Banos came after the previous intimate partner violence and sexual assault agency shut down its doors. Valley Crisis Center felt that although the former agency was no longer in existence, there was still a need for intimate violence and sexual assault services in the west side of Merced County. We aim to provide services to the west side community and with Los Banos as the neutral area between Dos Palos and Gustine, people from other areas on the west side would be able to access our services.

Since 2009, the Los Banos office has gone from a single tiny location to a large office. The growth is due in part to the support given by Police Chief, Gary Brizzee. Today, Valley Crisis Center in Los Banos is a well-respected agency in the community. We greatly appreciate the support of the Los Banos Police Department in making the reality of providing services on the west side an ongoing reality.

Our Los Banos Office offers legal assistance with restraining orders and individual peer counseling by appointment only. Please call us today to do an over the phone assessment and schedule an appointment. We also can provide walk in assessments, but please call ahead a time as the advocate may be in session when you arrive.

The services available at Los Banos are available in both English and Spanish, but additional languages can be accommodated upon request.
