Mountain Crisis Services, la organizaci\u00f3n principal de Valley Crisis Center, fue fundada en 1990 por un peque\u00f1o grupo de miembros de la comunidad preocupados por el problema de la violencia dom\u00e9stica en el condado de Mariposa. Lo que comenz\u00f3 como un servicio de l\u00ednea telef\u00f3nica de crisis de 24 horas, con el apoyo de la comunidad, se ha convertido en un servicio de apoyo cr\u00edtico para las familias en crisis en el condado de Mariposa.<\/p>

En julio de 2008, Mountain Crisis Services abri\u00f3 Valley Crisis Center (VCC). Valley Crisis Center fue establecido para asegurar que los servicios de violencia dom\u00e9stica y asalto sexual fueran proporcionados en el Condado de Merced. Desde entonces Valley Crisis Center ha tenido un gran \u00e9xito en el servicio a las v\u00edctimas, honrando la diversidad, y creciendo en un programa que realmente satisface las necesidades de la comunidad.<\/p>

En julio de 2018, Valley Crisis Center celebr\u00f3 10 a\u00f1os de servicio con la comunidad en un evento gratuito.<\/p>

En 2022, Valley Crisis Center abri\u00f3 nuestro primer centro de acogida para v\u00edctimas de la trata de seres humanos y se traslad\u00f3 a una nueva ubicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>
